DDI/LICENSE

This repository contains code under two different licenses.

1. Proprietary (see LICENSES/LicenseRef-DDI-Proprietary.txt)
   - server/   Management server
   - web/      Web user interface of the management server
   - tools/    Internal tooling (e.g. keygen-setup)

   Files in these directories carry the header
   "SPDX-License-Identifier: LicenseRef-DDI-Proprietary".

2. Apache License 2.0 (see LICENSES/Apache-2.0.txt)
   - agent/    DNS and DHCP agents
   - proto/    Server/agent protocol definitions and generated code
   - internal/ Code shared by server and agents
   - deploy/   systemd units, example configuration, development compose files
   - scripts/  Installer, build and release scripts
   - test/     Integration and end-to-end tests

   Files in these directories carry the header
   "SPDX-License-Identifier: Apache-2.0".

The SPDX header of a file takes precedence over this overview. Build tooling
ensures that code under agent/, proto/ and internal/ never imports code from
server/ (see docs/adr/0002-monorepo-ein-go-modul-lizenzgrenzen.md).
